Every puzzle comes out as two pages: a puzzle page to hand out, and an answer page to keep. Both can be downloaded as PNG or PDF, or printed straight from the browser.
How to use
- Type or paste your words into the word list box — one per line, or separated by commas.
- Pick a puzzle type from the dropdown.
- Adjust grid size, font size, columns and directions if you want. Defaults work fine.
- Press Generate puzzle.
- Use Download PNG or Download PDF for either page, or press Print to send the page you are looking at to your printer.
- Need the same puzzle again later? Set a seed before generating and reuse it.

How many words do I need?
Word search and criss-cross work well with 8 to 20 words. Mazes, math squares and number blocks ignore the word list and use the grid size instead. Cryptogram and hidden message work from a single sentence, so paste one line of text.
Why is a word missing from my grid?
With a small grid and long words, there may not be room. Raise the grid size, shorten the longest word, or enable more directions.
Can I print in black and white?
Yes. Both pages are drawn in solid black line work on white, with no background fills that eat toner.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The controls stack into a single column on narrow screens, and the generated pages scale to fit. Printing works from the browser's share or print menu.
Where are my words stored?
Nowhere. Everything happens in your browser tab. Close the tab and the words are gone.
